The ultra-powerful Group B rally cars are set to appear at the international historic motor sport show Race Retro. Held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry, UK from March 14-16, the show will see the Slowly Sideways group supply a selection of famous Group B rally cars from the 1980s, which will take to the tarmac for a quarter-mile rally demonstration over the weekend.
Among the historic models are the 1983 Michelotto-prepared Ferrari 308GTB QV; the 600bhp Audi E2 Quattro; Ford RS200; Peugeot 405 T16 and Renault Maxi Turbo.
A selection of rally-bred Ford Escorts will also join the line-up to celebrate 40 years of the Escort in competition. Mk I, Mk II and RS Cosworth editions are all set to join the Group B cars and others on the live action rally stage.
The show will also include a Bonhams Classic and Historic Auction, a replica Ace Cafe and Fire Engine Bar and historic karting demonstrations.
