Octane has once again collaborated with Coys to organise the Blenheim Palace Concours on July 5. The concours is part of Coys’ sale of fine motor cars, which this year includes a special selection of Jaguars to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the XK.
Cars on display will include exhibits from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage collection: NUB 120 – the famous XK120 Appleyard car – and the penultimate D-type. The concours will be judged by a selection of experts including Octane’s editor Robert Coucher and Jaguar design chief Ian Callum.
In addition to the display, more than 70 cars will go under the hammer in Coys’ auction, including over 25 Jaguars and a selection of film and TV cars such as Mr Bean’s lime-green Mini. Automobilia and sporting guns will also be offered for sale. See www.coys.co.uk and www.octane-magazine.com
