The inaugural Grands Concours d'Elégance de Saint-Cloud, was held on the weekend of the 28 and 29th June with fine examples of European and American coachwork on display around the famous fountain. The 1932 Nash Eight convertible sedan presented by l'Atelier des Coteaux won the Exceptional Vehicle category on the Sunday. Untouchables "Eliott Ness" used a similar model in the famous television series. Second place went to the 1932 Stutz Vertical 8, believed to be the only example in Europe, and the third place to the 1939 Figoni & Falaschi bodied Delahay 135 MS drop head. This car belonged in period to the Môme Moineau, a French cabaret star, which still bears marks on the car's windshield made by her diamond ring each time she turned the wheel. Last, but not least, Roger Tanguy's 1935 Delahaye 135 S, which finished 2nd at the 1938 Le Mans 24H was awarded the Special Prize "coup de coeur" by the judges.
The Production Cars competition was won by Stephane Molis 1947 Peugeot 202, second place went to Olivier Chaffard-Luçon 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air and third place to Jean-François Soyez 1933 Citroen Rosalie 10 A roadster.
Apart from the Concours d'Elegance, the exhibition organised by the Patrimoine Citroen (the French manufacturer's classic car collection) exhibited the 1939 Sacha Guitry 1929 C6, the 1939 2CV prototype, the 1931/32 "Croisière Jaune" half-track, the 1973 SM prototype and the 1999 C6 Lignage concept car.
