Vintage automobiles, modern classics and Navy & Marine jet fighters jostle for space among the Private Jet operators and corporate jet charter firms.

The McCall Motorworks Revival, now in its 13th year and held once again at the Monterey Jet Centre in downtown Monterey, is bigger and better than ever before. The event is seen as the curtain-raiser for the annual automotive festivities on the west coast, and the beautiful people of the Peninsula turned out in numbers to enjoy the hospitality of Gordon McCall.

Entering the Monterey Jet Centre, you are met by a line up of interesting classic cars that have just returned from the Quail Rally, and it is good to see a number of old machines in California covered in bugs. The Jet centre is a serious party amid some serious machines. Pride of place goes to the Navy & Marine F18 fighter bomber, as well as a beautiful P38 Lightning and a purposeful B25J Mitchell bomber.

Numerous special motor cars fill the hangar, including the new Bentley Brooklands and a gorgeous Ferrari P4 concept car. The Bonhams auction preview includes the rare Jaguar E2A and a number of eccentric Voisin.
