Tour Britannia Entry Doubles

The Tour Britannia race for pre-1976 cars has received almost twice as many entrants as last year. The record number of 76 is a huge improvement on the 42 2006 participants. Although applications for the 2007 Tour Britannia are now closed, the organisers are continuing to accept late entries until August 13.

The Tour Britannia race for pre-1976 cars has received almost twice as many entrants as last year. The record number of 76 is a huge improvement on the 42 2006 participants. Although applications for the 2007 Tour Britannia are now closed, the organisers are continuing to accept late entries until August 13.

The Touring-Regularity category has also seen an increase in applicants, more than double the previous year's at 24, which will compete for the David K Williams Trophy.


The Tour Britannia, which has been running for the past two years, attracts a variety motoring enthusiasts, with entrants competing in anything from Minis to Ferraris. The race begins on September 3 and those seeking more information or late application should visit http://www.tourbritannia.com
