The British Racing DriverÂ’s Club (BRDC) has revealed a computer-generated image of the planned pit and paddock complex at Silverstone.
Plans are already underway to move the existing pit and paddock complex from its current location between Woodcote and Copse to a new location between Club and Abbey. New garages, a race control building and media centre are just some of the scheduled additions to the complex.
There are also plans to revamp Club Corner and Abbey and create a new pit straight.
Sport architect HOK is responsible for the new design, which should make the circuit more sustainable and benefit the local economy.
The pit and paddock complex is the first part of a series of dramatic redevelopments at Silverstone scheduled to take place over the next decade.
