Lewis Hamilton, leading driver in the 2007 F1 Championship will make his F1 debut on home soil at the Goodwood Festival of Speed later this month. The young Brit will blast a McLaren up the West Sussex venue's 1.16-mile hillclimb course on 24 June - two weeks before the British GP.
"I can't wait to see the fans' reaction," said event founder Lord March. All four of Britain's F1 drivers will be at Goodwood. Jenson Button and David Coulthard will drive their 2007 racers, while Anthony Davidson will be let loose in a 1987 Williams-Honda FW11B.
