Brooklands Motor Sport and Aviation Museum has replaced its Ford Model T with a 1904 Cadillac. The 1916 Model T was a popular exhibit but Brooklands officials jumped at the chance to display an even older car at the museum.
The open-air car sports a single cylinder, eight horsepower horizontal engine and is a far cry from the chromed and winged Cadillacs of later years.
The 1904 model was also piloted by museum volunteers at the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run earlier in the month. It comes to Brooklands courtesy of Dave Starks, who also owns the previously-displayed Model T.
