UK Exige
Lotus Flies the Flag with Union Jack Exige S

We've all seen images of a Mini with a Union Jack emblazoned on its roof. But Lotus and a vehicle-wrapping company decided to take that approach a step further and literally create a 'flying flag'. The result is the Union Jack Lotus Exige S, the subject of an episode of the program How Do They Do It? on the Discovery Channel.

Lotus has released a striking image of the car, along with the story of how it was done.

'Totally Dynamic, which specialises in the application of vinyl wraps, was assigned the project and took ten hours to transform the iconic Exige for the documentary, which follows the project from brief to the finished car making its track debut,' Lotus said in a statement.

'The scheme was developed by Lotus Design to move away from the traditional static Union Jack to that of a flying flag to show the essence of movement and speed.'

The one-of-a-kind Lotus Exige S will be touring the UK in the coming months
