Two highly collectable vintage motorcycles will be up for sale at Bonhams' auction at the Classic Motorcycle Show in Stafford on April 27.
The most valuable is a 1934 Brough Superior 8/75hp, estimated at £120-140,000. Dubbed the Rolls-Royce of Motorcycles, the Brough sported extremely high quality materials and only six examples of the 8/75hp were built.
The second offering is a 1928 Coventry-Eagle 1,000cc ohv Flying-8, estimated at £50-60,000. The large 1.0-litre V-twin engine was extremely powerful at the time and ensured for a top speed of 80mph. The motorcycle is also one of only a handful left in existence.
