The 9th annual Bonhams' Aston Martin sale will see more cars then ever before go under the hammer at Newport Pagnell this weekend (May 17-18).
A record 41 cars are up for sale, the highlight of which is a 1961 Aston Martin DB4 GT Coupé.
Aston Martin has also entered a pair of unusual items to the sale: two specially numbered imperial gauge bricks from the Aston factory that was located opposite Works Service.
The bricks come in individual presentation boxes and each one has a certificate of authenticity, marking it as one of the 1500 bricks that were saved from the factory. Aston Martin will send its proceeds to its heritage trust.
Production at the Newport Pagnell site ceased last and Aston Martin is in the process of moving all current UK operations to its Gaydon site.
