The three-litre, flat-eight Spyder was Steve McQueen's steed in the famous 1971 film.
A true method actor, McQueen also raced the car in the 1970 Sebring 12-Hours along with Peter Revson. The pair finished second behind Mario Andretti, despite the fact that McQueen raced with a broken foot.
The 908/2 is also a five-time veteran of the Le Mans 24-Hours race.
