Veyron auctioned
The $3.19m Bugatti

The world's first Veyron Grand Sport scores big for charity

Bidding started at 1.7m dollars, and finally halted with a final offer of 2.9m
Just a day after the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport was unveiled on the Pebble Beach lawn, the Gooding & Company auctioned off the rights to chassis number 1 along with the opportunity for it's first owner to work with the Bugatti factory to build the car to their exact specifications.

Bidding started at $1.7m, and finally halted with a final offer of $2.9m dollars – which amounts to $3.19m dollars after buyer's premium (10%).
