Longbow’s lightweight all-electric Speedster sports car debuted at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California, after being unveiled in front of customers, partners and media across the weekend of 24-26 April, 2026.
Tipping the scale at just 894kg, the open-top, two-seater sports car will be displayed in the Petersen Automotive Museum lobby throughout the summer, alongside the original Tesla Roadster. Prior to its Petersen appearance, the Speedster had been touring the US with company leadership following its display at the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

‘We are the home of past and future icons, capturing the imagination of visitors across the generations,’ said the Petersen’s director of exhibitions Bryan Stevens. ‘We are thrilled to make the Longbow Speedster part of this story.’
The Speedster is the debut car from Longbow, founded by Daniel Davey, Mark Tapscott and Jenny Keisu. The trio are backed by a board of former automotive CEOs, including Dan Balmer, Michael van der Sande and Mike Flewitt. Their collective experience spans Lotus, McLaren, Aston Martin, Tesla, Alpine and Lucid.
‘We are greatly honoured by this opportunity,’ said Daniel Davey. ‘The Petersen represents so much of the history, vision and passion that have driven the technical evolution of the automotive industry. Now, visitors car glimpse the first true driver’s car of the electric age.’
