CarFest 2026

What was once the Silverstone Festival changes its name to CarFest 2026 this year, but the premise is broadly the same – a proper festival atmosphere with live music (Tom Jones is among this year’s acts), activities for all ages, a trade and food village, a classic car show, auctions, and of course, action on the circuit itself – the show pitches a wide range of genres including “supercars and hypercars to racing cars, classic and modern, icons of engineering and racing legends and the odd machines you never knew existed”. It’s not cheap, with general admission tickets for the Friday set at £91 for adults, £41 for 13-17 year olds, and £22 for 6-12 year olds (under-6s go free), but there are family discounts (two adults and two children comes in at £204), and there really is a lot going on. The event takes place on 28-30 August.
