Over 130 cars – including more than 60 pre-1905 veteran machines – will congregate on Pall Mall, London, on Sunday 1 November for the 2025 St James’s Motoring Spectacle.

First held in 2024, the free-to-attend event is organised by the Royal Automobile Club as a precursor to the RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run and celebrates the past, present and future of motoring.

The inaugural event drew roughly 10,000 visitors to central London. This year adds six themed zones – including a concours d’elegance, bicycle and motorcycle zone and educational area – to build on that success.

For many visitors, the headline attraction will be the event’s display dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 World Championship. This will see F1 cars and the golden British Grand Prix trophy displayed in the heart of Westminster.

Beside the cutting-edge carbonfibre machines of Formula 1, a hypercar display will showcase their road-car equivalents – underscoring how far technology has come since the pre-1905 entrants of the following day’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run.

‘The St James’s Motoring Spectacle is designed to celebrate every aspect of motoring – from its origins to its exciting future,’ explained Duncan Wiltshire, Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club. ‘We’re thrilled to offer the public such an accessible and inspiring experience, right in the heart of London.’
