Broad Arrow Auctions has announced that it will be holding its first live European sale next year, as the new official auction partner of the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in May 2025. Broad Arrow will take over from previous auction partner RM Sotheby’s, the Canadian auction house that has hosted a sale at the event since 2011.
Founded in 2021 by a team of industry veterans, Broad Arrow Auctions was acquired by Hagerty in 2022 and has been continuing to expand its position in the market ever since. The move will represent a significant milestone for the team, which has already seen rapid growth in North America with flagship events like the Monterey Jet Center Auction and The Amelia Auction – partnering with the event, which is also owned by Hagerty. With this announcement, Broad Arrow will take its first steps into Europe at one of the continent’s concours highlights.
Villa d’Este is the world’s oldest concours, which was first held in 1929. Today it’s run in partnership with BMW Group Classic and the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este – drawing enthusiasts and collectors from across the globe. The auction will take place on Saturday, 24 May 2025 at Villa Erba, the lakeside venue that also hosts the public parade of historic cars on Sunday.
