Ninety of the world’s finest collector cars will head to the Kingdom of Bahrain on 7-8 November for the inaugural Royal Bahrain Concours at the Royal Golf Club.

Held with the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa – the Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister – the event will celebrate automotive heritage and galvanise the Kingdom’s position as a regional hub for motoring events.

The 90 cars competing for Best of Show honours will be complemented by a further 300 machines from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) clubs, ranging from iconic classics to contemporary supercars.

The debut edition underscores the Middle East’s rising clout in the motoring world, with new events such as the UAE Concours d’Elegance and Riyadh’s SEVEN Concours, plus four Formula 1 Grands Prix, elevating the region alongside Europe and the US as an essential destination.

The Royal Bahrain Concours’ two-day programme kicks off on Friday 7 November with the Grand Arrival, preceding two days of exhibition, awards presentations and luxurious hospitality packages. The first day of the event, Prestige Day, is dedicated to showcasing cars on the concours stage, while Saturday’s Awards Day will see announcement of the Best of Show and class-winning cars.

‘The Royal Bahrain Concours is set to be the number one Concours in the whole of the GCC,’ said Royal Bahrain Concours chairman James Brooks-Ward. ‘Bahrain is known as the home of motoring, having been the first GCC country to welcome Formula One. The Kingdom is renowned for its warm welcome and its rich culture. It is the most natural place for the motoring world to converge in November.’
