McLaren has unveiled a limited-run 750S Le Mans edition to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its extraordinary 1995 debut victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Just 50 examples will be produced, each featuring a freshly MSO-developed High Downforce Kit (HDK) inspired by the legendary F1 LM and tailored for increased track performance.

The commemorative model honours the F1 GTR, chassis 59, which secured outright victory at Le Mans in 1995 wiith JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas and Masanori Sekiya at the wheel. That car led a dominant performance, with four McLarens finishing in the top five. Today’s 750S Le Mans edition nods directly to its ancestor with Le Mans Grey paint, LM-style five-spoke wheels and a roof scoop reminiscent of the 1990s endurance racer. McLaren Orange is also offered for those preferring the marque’s signature hue.

The MSO-developed HDK package adds a raised carbonfibre active rear wing, enlarged front splitter and new underbody louvres, increasing downforce by 10% over the standard 750S. The body-coloured under-wing panel, finished with gloss black louvres, subtly references the aerodynamic flourishes of the original F1 LM.

Inside, customers can specify a Le Mans-themed interior in Carbon Black Alcantara with either Dove Grey or McLaren Orange accents. Each car features Le Mans debossed headrests, branded floor mats, and a bespoke dedication plaque. An optional track record plaque listing McLaren’s 1995 Le Mans win and Triple Crown achievements can also be specified.

The car’s underpinnings remain pure 750S, with a mid-mounted, 740bhp (750ps) 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, carbonfibre Monocage II chassis and Proactive Chassis Control III suspension.

A wide range of further MSO options will be available exclusively to buyers, including extensive carbonfibre packs and a track brake upgrade with gold calipers and red McLaren branding.

‘The 750S Le Mans marks not just 30 years since our debut victory in the iconic race but an exciting time for the brand,’ said Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer, McLaren Automotive’s Chief Commercial Officer. ‘This exclusive 750S is the first McLaren Le Mans edition since the F1 LM to feature HDK aerodynamic enhancements and is set to become one of our most sought-after supercars.’

Deliveries of the 750S Le Mans edition are expected to begin later this year. Find out more at cars.mclaren.com.
