More than 300 Ferraris will gather in Florida this weekend for the 35th edition of the Cavallino Classic (13–15 February).

This milestone anniversary will take place at a new venue, The Boca Raton, a large, luxurious beachside resort in Boca Raton, Florida.

The event begins on Friday with the Tour d’Eleganza, which sees an eclectic mix of classic and contemporary Ferraris take to South Florida’s public roads, before an evening reception and the traditional Party Under the Stars.

Saturday centres on the Concorso d’Eleganza at The Boca Raton, where a carefully curated selection of Prancing Horses will be displayed across the resort’s 18th fairway. The weekend concludes with Classic & Sports Sunday at the Mar-a-Lago Club, where significant collector cars of various marques will be exhibited.

First held in 1992, the Cavallino Classic is widely regarded as the largest and most prestigious concours devoted solely to Ferrari. This year’s anniversary edition introduces the special Cavallino Legacy class, which reunites Best of Show winners from the previous 34 events.

The Legacy class will bring together past overall winners – from early competition Ferraris to rare one-off grand tourers – first displayed on Friday before joining the main concours field on Saturday. The curated gathering is intended to reflect both Ferrari’s evolution and the history of the Cavallino Classic itself.

Ferrari will also maintain a strong factory presence. The Italian marque will stage the US debut of the new 849 Testarossa supercar during Friday evening’s festivities and display its current production range throughout the weekend, including the newly launched Amalfi.

Saturday evening’s Cavallino Night promises to be another highlight, particularly as it hosts RM Sotheby’s Cavallino Auction. This major, marque-specific sale focuses exclusively on cars from private collections – most of which boast Ferrari Classiche certification.

Among the headline consignments are a one-off 2018 Ferrari 488 GTB 70th Anniversary finished in Rosso Mugello (est. $350k-$400k), the only 2009 430 Scuderia Spider 16M specified in Blu Pozzi over Terra Bruciata (est. $925k-$1m), a 1965 Ferrari 500 Superfast Series I (est. $1.3m-$1.6m) and a 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari (est. $4.4m-$4.7m).

Also crossing the block is the Michelotti-bodied 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona NART Spyder commissioned by US Ferrari importer Luigi Chinetti for his wife. Known as the Marion Spyder, it is one of just three Michelotti-built examples and was exhibited at the Turin Motor Show and the Le Mans Museum before entering private collections (est. $600,000-$750,000).

Complementing the cars is a selection of Ferrari-related automobilia, including autographed race helmets worn by Charles Leclerc (est. $40,000-$50,000) and Gerhard Berger (est. $10,000-$20,000) and a two-piece suit worn by Enzo Ferrari himself (est. $100,000-$200,000)

Beyond the concours and auction, Ferrari is set to debut a one-of-a-kind commission, while dedicated areas will spotlight Ferrari Classiche’s restoration programmes as well as the philanthropic work of The Ferrari Foundation
