The grounds of Grantley Hall is set to see the return of Yorkshire Elegance on 23-24 July. This year’s edition features an expanded concours, legendary Grand Prix machinery, and a curated selection of some of the rarest cars from 1886 to the present day.

Centrepiece of the 2025 event is the 1980 Williams FW-07B – the car in which Alan Jones secured his Drivers’ Championship and helped deliver Williams’ first Constructors’ title. The car will be flown in from Saudi Arabia, and it will be fired up and paraded daily, giving attendees the rare chance to hear Cosworth DFV-powered F1 car at full chat.

Alongside it will sit the 1989 Tyrrell 018 – a car of significance in F1’s changing era, raced by Michele Alboreto and Jean Alesi. It was Alboreto’s last podium-finisher and Alesi’s debut grand prix car. The pair form part of a motorsport-themed display. Elsewhere, the show contrasts the dawn of motoring with the cutting edge: the Benz Patent-Motorwagen replica – a tribute to the first car of 1886 – will share the lawn with the Aston Martin Valkyrie. Darren Turner, the Aston Martin works driver who helped develop the Valkyrie, will be on hand to discuss its race-bred credentials.

At the heart of the event lies the expanded concours, this year featuring 71 entries spread across seven classes. Highlights include an original, unrestored 1898 Peugeot Vis-à-Vis 16, a 1928 Mercedes-Benz S-Type Sports Tourer and the ex-Stirling Moss AC Cobra used at Le Mans in 1962. Lovers of post-war GTs will find much to admire, from a Ferrari 275GTB Chassis #1 to an Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato Sanction III and a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing.

Aston Martin is particularly well represented, with a chronological thread running from the ultra-rare DB1 through to a DB2 ex-Works car, DB4 Volante, DB5s and DB6s, and continuing to the modern OHMSS-edition DBS and Valkyrie.

More recent performance machinery includes a Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari 12Cilindri, Porsche 992 GT3 RS, and Ford GT.

General admission is priced at £69 on the day, with advance purchases including a food voucher redeemable for a Grantley Hall burger or vegetarian alternative. VIP tickets – available until 20 July – offer a more exclusive experience, including a three-course or gourmet buffet lunch and access to the VIP Club Elegance enclosure, complete with private bar and relaxed seating within the action.
