Heveningham Concours

The Heveningham Concours promises a sumptuous feast of A-list machinery for the unique concours on the tiered lawn of the Grade 1 listed Suffolk Palladian mansion. The concours field is limited to around 50 cars by the spectacular setting, Kim Wilkie’s Capability Brown inspired tiered lawn.

The event concours has become equally well known for its pre-event tour which explores the glorious Suffolk countryside and landmarks and also for its impressive aviation content. There is a huge fly-in of mainly vintage aircraft over the weekend and also an aviation concours in which planes compete for the Hanna Aviation trophy.

The other major trophy is awarded for the top time up Horsepower Hill. Runs up the short, 1/8th-mile course take just a few seconds so mastery of putting the power down and getting cleanly of the line is everything in this tightly fought duel.

One of the unique aspects of Heveningham is that it is not just about the petrolhead activities and while they play out a Country Fair will be in full swing on the site and attract 20,000 visitors.

Heveningham Concours and Country Fair are not for profit and all proceeds go to a charitable trust serving local causes.
