La Leggenda di Bassano

The 31st edition of La Leggenda di Bassano takes place in Bassano del Grappa, northern Italy, from the 18th to the 21st June. It takes the Italian road race format with which we’re so familiar (from the likes of the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio), exclusively for cars built between 1920 and 1960 – arguably the golden age of road racing. The route takes in some of northern Italy’s best driving roads (and best scenery), with several prizes on offer for the various car classes, and a few surprise prizes at the organisers’ discretion. Like many such road races, attendance as a spectator is free, if you can get yourself to the area.
