Oulton Park Gold Cup

The Oulton Park Gold Cup isn’t some recent revival event – it’s been running near-continuously since 1954, though since 2005 it’s been a general historic racing event rather than a prize presented for a single race. Timetables haven’t been released for the 2026 event yet – taking place on the 29th-30th August bank holiday weekend – but as an HSCC event, you can expect the usual suspects: special saloons, Historic Formula 3, classic Alfa Romeos, and more. Oulton Park has some brilliant viewing areas, and the large infield allows plenty of space for numerous classic car clubs, so there’s a car show element too. Hampson Auctions will send several cars across the block and the event promises classic buses, tractors, and Cyclekarts. Pricing for adult tickets starts at £15 for the Friday, and £28 on the Saturday and Sunday.
