It’s hard to know where to turn your attention during Monterey Car Week; from the Pebble Beach Concours to the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, there’s something for almost every automotive persuasion. The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, is held at Quail Lodge & Golf Club and features classes for pre- and post-war sports cars, supercars, Ferraris, and motorcycles. This year’s overarching themes include a celebration of 100 years of Route 66, the Lamborghini Diablo, and Japanese GTs. The Friday, August 14th date puts it a couple of days before Pebble Beach, and in the middle of the Rolex events at Laguna Seca, so it should be easy enough to hop from one to the next.
