Vernasca Silver Flag

The Vernasca Silver Flag returns in 2026, this year from the 19th-21st June. The hillclimb format, taking place in Castell’Arquato (not far from Parma), is open to a wide variety of cars – everything from the expected purpose-built classic hill climb racers and Group B rally cars, to old Grand Prix cars, some of which raced when the original, 1953-1971 competitive event. You can expect around 180 cars in total based on previous years, and it’s particularly compelling if you want to spectate, since it’s entirely free, both to wander around the paddock in Castell’Arquato, or to take a seat somewhere up in the hills to watch the cars pass.
