The Peninsula has announced the seven finalists for its 2025 Best of the Best Award, which celebrates the finest Best of Show winners from the world’s leading concours events.
Established in 2015, the award is regarded as one of the most coveted accolades in the concours world, recognising the single most outstanding Best of Show winner from the global calendar.
To make the shortlist, each car must have won awards in the past year’s top concours events. Each year, the winner is decided by an expert jury panel comprising leading figures from across the automotive world, including designers, executives and royalty. Octane’s Jay Leno and legendary car designer Gordon Murray are among the judges tasked with crowning the 2025 winner.
‘This award is more than a celebration of engineering excellence – it is a tribute to the artistry, heritage, and cultural significance of the automobile,’ said Peninsula co-founder Sir Michael Kadoorie. ‘Each finalist represents a chapter in the story of motoring history, crafted by visionary designers and preserved for future generations.’
The winning car will be on display at the century-old Peninsula Paris, in the heart of the French capital, from 28 January to 3 February, following an awards ceremony held in partnership with Rétromobile.
