Top motoring model maker Amalgam Collection has revealed the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar as its latest 1:8 scale handcrafted masterpiece.
Amalgam’s models are known for their breathtaking levels of detail – with hand-stitched upholstery and fully wired engine bays – and its Valkyrie is no exception.

The company says it collaborated with Aston Martin’s design and engineering divisions and put in more than 3000 hours of development work to create the 560mm-long replica. Production will be limited to just 199 coupés and 199 spiders and each is said to take Amalgam artisans in excess of 300 hours to complete.
Many of those hours will be spent manufacturing thousands of scaled parts from the car’s factory CAD diagrams. The attention-to-detail continues with the use of paint codes and material specifications that also mirror the real car.

The default specification is Aston Martin’s OEM Podium Green finish over a black interior, although collectors will be able to commission bespoke builds, enabling exact scale recreations of individual Valkyrie chassis.
‘The meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy in these 1:8 scale replicas truly reflect the same passion and dedication that goes into building our full-sized vehicles,’ commented Aston Martin director of brand diversification Stefano Sporetti. ‘They are a magnificent testament to the Aston Martin legacy and a luxurious piece for any collector.’

Prices for standard cars finished in Podium Green over a black interior start at £14,740, while bespoke commissions are available from £20,640. Prices are the same for both spider and coupé variants.
