The ASI Bertone Collection of historically significant concept and production cars will move to Turin’s Stellantis Heritage Hub in 2026, following an agreement between Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI) and Stellantis Heritage Italia.
ASI’s stewardship of the collection began more than a decade ago, following the closure of Centro Stile Bertone. While a small number of prototypes were sold before Centro Stile Bertone’s 2014 liquidation, the collection remains a significant record of the carrozzeria’s work and includes vehicles designed by iconic designers such as Marcello Gandini and Marc Deschamps, among others.
Before the announcement, the collection was displayed at the Volandia Park and Museum of Flight near Milan Malpensa airport. The museum acted as the car’s temporary home while restoration work was carried out and arrangements for a permanent venue were being made.
The agreement means the collection will be permanently housed in Stellantis’s heritage centre and the transfer is expected to be completed by April 2026. The Hub is already home to landmark vehicles from the likes of Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia.

‘The mission of the Heritage Hub is to tell, through a transformative perspective, how more than one hundred years of automotive history are deeply connected to the city of Turin,’ explained head of Stellantis Heritage Italy Roberto Gialto. ‘The arrival of the ASI Bertone Collection further strengthens the role of the Heritage Hub as a unique point of reference in the museum landscape.
‘We are particularly proud to take part in this ambitious project, offering an ever-wider audience the opportunity to discover and rediscover the extraordinary local history through the vehicles that will enrich the collection already on display.’
Happily, the move to Turin will make the collection’s most iconic cars far more visible and accessible to the public. The parties involved deserve credit – particularly ASI, which has safeguarded Bertone’s legacy by keeping the collection intact.
