Aston Martin has unveiled the Vanquish 25, a limited-edition model marking a quarter of a century since the company introduced its first front-engined V12 flagship to carry the Vanquish name. Created by Q by Aston Martin, production will be restricted to 50 cars worldwide – 25 Coupés and 25 Volantes – with customers able to choose between two-seat and 2+2 configurations.
The original Vanquish made its debut at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show, establishing the template for Aston Martin’s modern range-topping grand tourer. Its Ian Callum-designed aluminium and composite bodywork, 5.9-litre V12 and automated manual transmission made it a substantial departure from the hand-built V8 models that preceded it. A second generation followed in 2012, before the name returned for the current flagship in 2024.
Mechanically, the Vanquish 25 remains unchanged from the latest production model. Its 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 produces 824bhp and 738lb ft, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Aston Martin claims 0-62mph in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 214mph, making the third-generation Vanquish the most powerful series-production front-engined car in the company’s history.
The anniversary treatment is largely cosmetic, drawing inspiration from the original model’s launch specification while introducing new materials and finishes. All 50 cars will be painted in Q Skye Silver, complemented by metal-foil detailing on the side sills and shield vanes, stainless-steel side strakes and unique Vanquish 25 badging. The 21-inch forged wheels receive a subtle V-shaped highlight, while the exhaust finishers are also specific to the model.
Inside, buyers can choose Onyx Black, Oxford Tan or Phantom Grey upholstery. Bespoke perforation patterns, embroidered seatbacks and laser-etched trim inlays distinguish the cabin, alongside a bright red engine start button surrounded by unique rotary detailing and a black Alcantara headlining.
The Vanquish 25 will make its public debut during Monterey Car Week on 10-16 August, with deliveries scheduled to begin during the final quarter of 2026. Pricing has not yet been announced.
