The large Autoworld museum in Brussels is set to honour Japan’s rich motoring heritage this summer with Big in Japan, an exhibition running from 3 July to 31 August 2025.
Over 55 cars and motorcycles will be displayed, from milestone road cars to outright racing legends. Star attractions include the Mazda Cosmo, a rare pre-production Mazda MX-5 and the timeless Toyota 2000 GT and Spider.

Motorsport enthusiasts will find much to admire with genuine race cars from rally stages, endurance circuits and Super GT grids. The centrepiece is the legendary Mazda 787B, still the only Japanese car – and rotary-engined machine – to win Le Mans outright in 1991. It’s joined by the Toyota 94C-V from 1994 and a Toyota Corolla WRC once piloted by Carlos Sainz, evoking memories of Japan’s fierce presence in world rallying.
Rarities like the Toyota GT-One will be in attendance, while superbike aficionados can chart Japan’s dominance from the groundbreaking Honda CB750 to modern icons like the Yamaha R1 and Suzuki Hayabusa.

A Cars & Coffee gathering on 12 July will bring owners and fans together on the museum’s esplanade to celebrate Japanese classics and modern performance heroes alike. Entry to Big in Japan is included with regular Autoworld tickets, priced from €17 for adults. The exhibition runs daily until 31 August.
