Concours des Légendes will make its debut at Wilton House from 19-21 June 2026 with a line-up of drivers, engineers and designers that reflects the event’s focus on the people and stories behind the world’s most significant cars. The Wiltshire gathering is structured around live discussions and curated displays, with its ‘Legends Stage’ placing leading figures from motorsport and design at the centre of the programme.
Among the first confirmed names are Derek Bell and Richard Attwood, who will appear together to revisit the challenges of campaigning the Porsche 917 during endurance racing’s most demanding period. Attwood was part of Porsche’s breakthrough Le Mans victory in 1970, while Bell would go on to claim five overall wins at La Sarthe, establishing himself as one of the race’s most successful drivers.

Also confirmed is Valentino Balboni, whose four-decade career as Lamborghini’s chief development driver saw him play a central role in shaping the character of models from the Miura and Countach through to the Gallardo. His appearance is expected to offer insight into how some of the marque’s defining road cars evolved from prototype to production.

Former Formula 1 driver and Le Mans winner Stefan Johansson will contribute in two capacities, appearing on stage while also exhibiting his abstract motorsport artwork. His dual role reflects the broader scope of the event, which blends automotive history with design and cultural context.
That theme is reinforced by the inclusion of leading automotive designers, including Peter Stevens, Frank Stephenson, Wayne Burgess and Ken Okuyama, each of whom has been responsible for influential production and concept cars across multiple decades.
Set within the grounds of Wilton House, the event aims to move beyond static display, combining talks, narrated exhibits and an auction by Dore & Rees with access to the house itself. Further speakers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, but the initial line-up already underlines the event’s ambition to present automotive history through those who helped shape it.
