Land Rover Classic has expanded its remastered Defender V8 line-up with the addition of a new 110 Double Cab Pick-Up, unveiled as part of an eye-catching four-car commission created for a single client. The new body style joins the existing 90 Station Wagon, 90 Soft Top and 110 Station Wagon, while a 90 Hard Top is also now available to order.
This quartet demonstrates the growing scope of Land Rover Classic’s Works Bespoke programme, which rebuilds and upgrades original 2012-2016 Defenders. Finished in a striking Spectral Green paint that changes appearance between green, purple and gold depending on the light, the colour-shifting finish extends to the 18-inch Sawtooth wheels, badging and interior trim panels, with each vehicle requiring close to 400 hours in the paint shop.

Contrasting Icy White roofs, expedition cages and coachlines are paired with Bridge of Weir Vanilla leather upholstery and matching green stitching. Long admired by enthusiasts and increasingly sought after on the used market, the Double Cab Pick-Up body style combines the practicality of a five-seat pick-up with the familiar proportions of the Defender 110.
Mechanical specification remains unchanged, and every Classic Defender V8 uses Land Rover’s naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8, producing 399bhp and 380lb ft of torque, driving through an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Chassis upgrades include revised suspension geometry, uprated springs and dampers, larger brakes and a reworked steering system.

Land Rover Classic has also introduced a new nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, discreetly integrated into the dashboard and offering wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Additional options include new wheel finishes and a Trophy Pack inspired by recent Defender special editions.
Every Classic Defender V8 begins life as a carefully sourced donor vehicle before being stripped, rebuilt and enhanced by the marque’s specialists in Coventry. The result is intended to combine the character of the original Defender with improved performance and contemporary usability – and, in the case of this latest commission, the ability to change colour as it catches the light.
