Porsche gives Toy Story 5 characters the Sonderwunsch treatment with trio of one-off 911s

Porsche has revealed three unique 911 models inspired by Disney and Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story 5 film, with bespoke creations based on Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie making their debut at the film’s world premiere in Los Angeles. The cars will ultimately be sold as part of a charitable initiative supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross and Starlight Children’s Foundation.

While one-off Porsche commissions are nothing new, the latest creations come from the marque’s Sonderwunsch department and represent a rare collaboration between Stuttgart, Pixar Animation Studios and Disney. The project also reunited Porsche with Bob Pauley, the original designer of Buzz Lightyear and a key figure behind the Sally Special created to mark Cars.

The Buzz Lightyear’s car is a 992-generation 911 GT3 RS, equipped with the Weissach Package and finished in white with green and purple accents inspired by the Space Ranger’s familiar colour scheme. Its oversized rear wing echoes Buzz’s pop-out wings, while bespoke ‘Lightyear’ tyres and illuminated ‘To Infinity and Beyond’ sill plates reinforce the theme.

Jessie is represented by a 2026 911 Targa 4 GTS, whose specially developed Jessie White Metallic paint references the pearl buttons on the cowgirl’s shirt. A red Targa roof mirrors her hat, while cowhide-pattern floor mats and illuminated ‘YEE HAW!’ door sills add further nods to the character.

Perhaps the subtlest interpretation is Woody’s 2026 911 Carrera T. Porsche developed a unique paint finish that mimics the appearance and texture of worn denim, complemented by vintage-look brown leather and red checked inserts inspired by the sheriff’s shirt. Illuminated sill plates bearing the phrase ‘Ride Like the Wind!’ complete the theme.

All three cars are one-offs and will be sold to benefit the three charities, continuing Porsche’s recent habit of using its Sonderwunsch programme to create highly individual machines for special occasions. In this case, the enduring appeal of Pixar’s beloved characters has been translated into something altogether more unusual – a trio of bespoke 911s that combine Stuttgart engineering with a touch of childhood nostalgia.
