Bonhams has partnered with the Schumacher Lounge at the 2025 Italian Grand Prix to stage a special online auction of memorabilia from Michael Schumacher’s career, running from 29 August to 9 September. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Keep Fighting Foundation, established by the Schumacher family in 2017.

The 23-lot catalogue charts the German champion’s motor racing career, featuring race suits from his Benetton and Ferrari Formula 1 campaigns, as well as an unusual Mercedes-Benz example from his World SportsCar Championship Group C days.

Helmets also feature prominently, the majority being Ferrari-liveried Schuberth replicas with signed visors. Among the most intriguing pieces is a race-worn Shoei helmet believed to have been used by Schumacher during his karting and DTM exploits, later updated with decals echoing his first Benetton season design.

The headline lot is a set of Benetton overalls worn at the 1995 Pacific Grand Prix, where Schumacher claimed his eighth win of the season en route to securing the second of his seven World Championships. While Bonhams has not disclosed pre-sale estimates for any consignments, the suit carries an opening bid of €44,000.

Also notable is a Ferrari race suit from the 2000 Hungarian Grand Prix, where Schumacher started from pole and finished runner-up to title rival Mika Häkkinen. Bearing the German’s autograph alongside prominent Marlboro branding, it carries the auction’s second-highest starting bid at €30,000.

Further highlights include a race-used suspension cover from Schumacher’s Benetton B193, as well as a selection of mini helmets, gloves and a hat all signed by his son and former F1 driver Mick Schumacher.
