Rare Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger 007 Edition is up for auction

A rare 2024 Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger 007 Edition will be auctioned by Christie’s on 11 December 2025, with estimates of £200,000-£300,000.

Aston Martin built 60 Goldfinger 007 Edition cars in 2024 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Goldfinger, which marked the on-screen debut of the DB5.

The example headed to auction, however, is chassis 0/60 – a car reserved for EON Productions, the long-standing Bond filmmaking company led by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. With all 60 customer cars having sold out immediately, chassis 0/60 becomes the first to reach the open market.

Amazon MGM Studios has consigned the car for sale, with proceeds divided equally between four charities: Into Film, the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, the London Screen Academy and UK Time’s Up. The beneficiaries were selected by Wilson and Broccoli.

Chassis 0/60 is a UK-spec, right-hand drive car that remains unregistered. Like all Goldfinger 007 Editions, it carries a host of film-inspired details, from Silver Birch paintwork echoing Bond’s DB5 to bespoke anniversary badging. Inside, 18-carat gold-plated accents and commemorative plaques accompany Sports Plus seats trimmed with a Prince of Wales check perforation pattern inspired by the suit Bond wears in the film.

Each DB12 Goldfinger 007 Edition was delivered with a set of model-specific accessories, all of which accompany chassis 0/60. These include a tailored car cover and a Globe-Trotter attaché case containing a gold-ingot-style key box, a speed-form model and a limited-edition magazine.

Also included are replica 35mm film from a Goldfinger scene and replica script pages, along with a numbered magnum of Bollinger Champagne and four Bollinger 007 glasses. The winning bidder will also receive a Goldfinger 60th Anniversary film poster, which will be autographed by Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli after the sale.
