Vittori hypercar startup collaborates with Pininfarina to create V12-powered Turbio

Vittori has joined the ultra-exclusive hypercar segment with a limited-production 6.8-litre hybrid V12-powered machine created in partnership with Pininfarina.

Vittori is a new company with roots in Italy and the US and its first-ever hypercar, the Turbio, will debut later this month in Miami. Production will be limited to 50 examples. 

The 1100bhp machine is built around a proprietary powertrain designed by Italian engineering firm Italtecnica. It’s said to be capable of hitting 0-60mph in just 2.5 seconds, while the striking exterior design is shaped for aerodynamic performance and to optimise cooling. 

Active aerodynamics – including a retractable rear spoiler – provide the coupé with a sleek silhouette unperverted by the downforce-generating addenda that’s often seen on cars such as this. Similarly, air intakes and outlets have been carefully integrated into the bodywork.

The cabin features a digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen, as well as traditional buttons and switchgear.

Interestingly, artificial intelligence played a key role in the car’s development, creating hundreds of concept sketches that were then refined by Pininfarina and transformed into the final concept. Similarly, several of the chassis and body components are manufactured using an AI-powered 3D printer, in a similar fashion to the Czinger C21.

Further details will be revealed when the pre-production Turbio concept makes its public debut in Miami. Customer cars will be built by Pininfarina in Italy.
