FuoriConcorso‘s 2026 KraftMeister theme will celebrate German automotive engineering when the event returns to the shores of Lake Como on 16-17 May.
Staged across Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota, the event will bring together historic racing machinery, production cars, concept cars and one-off machines, with Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW and Audi at the centre of the programme. Famed German tuner Brabus and Italian firm Bizzarrini will also debut new models at the event.
Motorsport has become one of the concorso’s most popular attractions and last year’s Velocissimo edition featured a grid of Italian Formula 1 cars to mark the sport’s 75th anniversary. For 2026, the Kraftmeister theme puts the spotlight on Teutonic racing machinery.

Porsche will be represented by endurance racing legends including the 908 LH, 917 LH and 962, while BMW’s touring car heritage will be celebrated with the 3.0 CSL. Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz will showcase its 190E 2.5-16 Evo and Evo II DTM challengers alongside HWA’s modern interpretation. To complete the quartet, Audi will host a special display at Villa Sucota that includes the Sport Quattro, 90 Quattro IMSA GTO, R18 e-tron quattro and its 2026 Formula 1 car.
Road cars will be similarly well represented. Mercedes will mark 140 years of motoring heritage with a display that begins with the 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen and continues through the 1955 300 SLR race car and the F1-engined 2024 AMG One hypercar. Porsche, meanwhile, will present a dedicated display of air-cooled 911s that begins with the 1971 911 2.6 ST that ran in the Tour de France Automobile.
FuoriConcorso will also celebrate Germany’s tuning and aftermarket scene with cars from AMG, Gemballa and Koenig Specials. Highlights include the Porsche Carrera GT-based Gemballa Mirage GT and the Mercedes-Benz 300 CE 6.0 AMG – better known as the ‘Hammer’.

Modern performance cars will feature prominently, with highlights including Koenigsegg’s expected presentation of its CC850, Bentley’s limited-production Batur and GMA’s T.50. Pagani, meanwhile, will appear with its Zonda Unico, while both Bizzarrini and TS Automobili will showcase their latest creations alongside Gemballa, Donkervoort and Naran Automotive.
The Maybach Exelero and BMW Vision EfficientDynamics will represent the concept car world, illustrating how German manufacturers have used experimental projects to push design and technology in very different directions.
Away from the cars, Villa Olmo will host Helmut Newton. Cars, a photographic exhibition spanning work from 1956 to 2001 that celebrates the German-Australian photographer’s lifelong passion for the automobile. Featuring 20 large-format panels, it marks the first time Newton’s automotive work has been presented as a dedicated exhibition.
FuoriConcorso KraftMeister takes place on 16-17 May 2026 at Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota, Lake Como. The Helmut Newton exhibition runs at Villa Olmo from 15 May to 30 June. For tickets and further information, click here.
