Brooklands New Year’s Day Gathering

Not to force you to peer too far into the future, but the Brooklands New Year’s Day Gathering is one to put into your calendar for 2027. Tickets are available on the door and start at £27.10 (£11.25 for kids aged 4-17, under-4s go free, all tickets get you into the museum too), though Brooklands does recommend pre-booking as the event is very popular. If you’re a Brooklands member (£63 annually) and are in a place to make use of other events at the famous circuit, then you’ll get in free. Weather at this time of year isn’t guaranteed to be clement, but after the mental fug of Christmas and a dearth of winter events, the New Year’s Day Gathering always feels like an escape. There’ll be spaces for pre-1997, pre-booked vehicles on-site, or post-97 if you have a sports or supercar.
