Around 60 of the world’s finest cars will assemble in the gardens of Hampton Court Palace
The Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace is an annual highlight, and very much a case of quality over quantity. A modest 60 vehicles will join this year’s Concours, many of which will never have been seen before in the UK. Among this year’s themes are 60 years of the mid-engined Lotus Europa, in a collaboration with Club Lotus, and a display of Vauxhall 30-98s, one of the most competitive and significant sports cars of the 1920s. As ever, categories like Thirty Under 30, aimed at younger classic car owners, and the Junior Concours for kids and their half- and three-quarter-scale cars will bolster the main event – both showing there’s room for more than just six- and seven-figure cars at Hampton Court Palace. The event runs from September 4-6, with VIP preview day tickets on the Friday coming in at £112.20, while Saturday and Sunday are each £71.40. Students and kids get in for £35.70 on all days.
