Rallye Monte Carlo Historique

Date 28 – 06 February 2027

As you read this the 2026 Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique has passed, won by a Spanish crew in a 1981 BMW 323i. Dates for the 29th edition are already in the calendar though, with the rally taking place from Thursday, 28 January, until Saturday, 6 February 2027. This year’s rally introduced several changes that competitors had been seeking for some time, including a broader range of vehicle ages (now 1911 until 1986), six starting cities (like the original rally, competitors home in on Monaco from several cities around Europe), and more closed-road regularity tests. Considering the age of the vehicles, the early-year dates mean conditions are as treacherous as those faced by the modern Rallye Monte Carlo – and just as cold for the spectators, who frequently have to dig stricken cars out of snow banks.
