Rétromobile New York

New for this year is Rétromobile New York, counterpart to the incredibly popular Parisian event. It’s a smart move, given the event’s CEO notes that seventy per cent of any classic car transaction around the world involves a US citizen as the buyer – with New York as the epicentre of that interest in the hobby. It’ll be first and foremost a classic car show, though there will also be auctions during the event, and some of the large US automakers may show up to show off their vintage collections too, with 200-250 exhibitors in total. Single-day tickets come in at $63, and while a full calendar of the event is yet to be published, it’s set to take place at the Javits Convention Center in New York City from 19-22 November.
