Sherborne Castle Classic & Supercars

Expect to see more than 1500 vehicles at this year’s Classic & Supercars at Sherborne Castle in Dorset. The event is now in its 21st year and is held to the benefit of numerous charities, raising not far short of half a million pounds over the years. It’s fabulous value given the number of cars on display – advance tickets are £20, or £25 on the gate, while under-16s go free – and there should be something for just about everyone, given the promise of supercars, hot rods, veterans, race cars, and classics, while this year’s featured marque is Alfa Romeo. The Castle itself is well worth a visit on its own, having been built by Sir Walter Raleigh in 1594, and with gardens by Capability Brown. This year’s show takes place on Sunday 26th July.
