The 2025 edition of Cavallino Classic Modena concluded with a record number of Platinum Awards and three standout Best of Show winners. Held once again at Casa Maria Luigia – the Modena estate of chef Massimo Bottura – the three-day celebration brought together a curated selection of Ferrari’s most significant road and competition cars.

In the Competition category, honours went to Giuseppe Prevosti’s 1954 Ferrari 250 Monza, chassis #0442M. Presented in traditional Ferrari red and carrying the livery of the Carrera Panamericana, it captured the spirit of the Prancing Horse’s 1950s endurance racing efforts. The Best of Show Gran Turismo award was claimed by the 1960 250 GT Pinin Farina Cabriolet, chassis #2381, finished in Abete Metallizzato with a beige leather interior and presented by Bacchelli & Villa. The third major award, for Best of Show Ferrari Classiche Certified, was given to the 1966 275 GTB4 ‘long nose’ with three carburettors, chassis #09021 – notably the first GTB4 displayed at the Paris Salon.

Guests included Piero Ferrari and Enzo Mattioli Ferrari, with Cavallino Chairman Luigi Orlandini noting the show’s rising stature: ‘Cavallino Classic Modena has once again surpassed itself.’ The event’s success, he added, was down to the quality of the cars, the setting, and a discerning international audience present by invitation only.

From Friday’s welcome dinner and live music through to Saturday’s concours judging and gala prepared by Osteria Francescana, the emphasis remained firmly on craftsmanship and heritage. A parade through the streets of Modena and a stop at the Museo Enzo Ferrari brought proceedings to a close on Sunday.

The Ferrari Restoration Award and Cavallino Magazine Award were both presented to the 1951 212 Export Vignale #0106E.

With 26 Platinum Awards granted to cars scoring over 97 points, the concours underscored the exceptional standard of entries. For more info, see cavallino.com
