A special screening of the critically-acclaimed documentary Luca: Seeing Red will take place at the inaugural Concours des Légendes at Wilton House, Salisbury, on the evening of June 19, 2026.
Directed, written and produced by Manish Pandey – who also wrote the award-winning Senna documentary of 2010 – the film explores the remarkable career of former Ferrari chairman and CEO Luca di Montezemolo. Pandey will be present on the night to personally introduce the film.
To tell the story of Montezemolo’s career, the film combines rare archive footage – including from his little-known rallying career and from his role as Scuderia Ferrari team manager in the 1970s – with interviews conducted by former Top Gear host Chris Harris.
In addition to Montezemolo’s decades-long association with Ferrari, the film also delves into his broader influence on Italian life, including organising the 1990 FIFA World Cup and launching the country’s high-speed rail network. Montezemolo’s Ferrari career came to an abrupt end when he was unceremoniously ousted in a 2014 boardroom coup led by the late Sergio Marchionne.
The Luca: Seeing Red screening will follow a compelling Formula 1 discussion on the event’s Legends Stage at 5pm, Friday afternoon. Titled F1 – Engineering the Future: Has F1 Lost Its Soul?, the discussion brings together F1 engineering genius Ross Brawn, former Grand Prix driver and Le Mans winner Stefan Johansson, British F1 racer Mike Wilds and Patrick Morgan – an engineer and restorer specialising in historic F1 and IndyCar machinery. Chairing the conversation will be acclaimed motorsport journalist and broadcaster Simon Taylor.
Concours des Légendes takes place at Wilton House, Salisbury, from 19-21 June 2026, with Friday’s programme running from 10am to 8pm. Tickets are available now at concoursdeslegendes.co.uk.
