A new exhibition celebrating 25 years of the Fast & Furious franchise will open at Los Angeles’ Petersen Automotive Museum on 14 March 2026, running through April 2027.

The Fast and Furious Legacy: 25 Years of Automotive Icons will see a curated selection of vehicles – ranging from stunt cars to production prototypes – showcased in the museum’s Propulsion and Ross and Beth Myers Galleries.

‘The display has been years in the making and marks a defining moment for the museum,’ commented Petersen executive director Terry L. Karges. ‘This is an opportunity to step inside the world of Fast & Furious and experience the cars that drove the franchise’s impact on automotive culture.’

The 1993 Toyota Supra stunt car driven by the late Paul Walker in the first Fast & Furious film will be one of the exhibition’s main attractions. The Toyota Supra ‘Stunt #3’ is set to be reunited with the 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by Walker’s character, Brian O’Conner, in the opening scene.

The Petersen has also confirmed the display of the Honda S2000 driven by Devon Aoki’s character, Suki, in 2 Fast 2 Furious, as well as the 1968 Dodge Charger R/T driven by Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto in the sixth instalment.

Other highlights include the 1997 Nissan 240SX that appeared at the franchise’s premiere with Letty Ortiz, played by Michelle Rodriguez, at the wheel, in addition to Dom Toretto’s 1993 Mazda RX-7.

The exhibition opens just days before the final Fast film arrives in cinemas on 17 March 2026.

‘The Fast Saga was born out of the creativity and community of Los Angeles car culture. Even as the series grew into a global phenomenon, the heart of the franchise has always been rooted in the city,’ said Universal Entertainment chief brand officer David O’Connor. ‘This exhibit truly honours the legacy of the films, the artistry behind these incredible machines and the fans who have carried this story forward for 25 years.’
