Two iconic names from the worlds of watchmaking and motorcycling – Richard Mille and Brough Superior – have joined forces to create one of the most desirable superbikes ever built: the RMB 01. Unveiled at the 2025 Le Mans Classic on 3 July, this track-focused machine blends mechanical performance with horological artistry.
Limited to just 150 units, the RMB 01 pairs cutting-edge engineering with the sculptural luxury of a Richard Mille timepiece. At its heart is a hand-built 997cc V-twin engine, machined from a 159kg billet of aluminium down to just 22kg of essential components. It delivers a muscular 130bhp, engineered with the same obsessive precision as Richard Mille’s skeletonised movements.

That horological influence continues in the detailing. The exposed engine casings are CNC-milled from solid 5000-series aluminium, while the chassis combines a CNC-machined aluminium frame with a forged-carbon exoskeleton. Up front, Brough’s signature Fior-type double-wishbone fork isolates steering and braking forces for razor-sharp handling. The split-rim wheels, meanwhile, nod to the layered complexity of a luxury mechanical watch.

Customers can choose from three finishes – Nocturnal Sapphire, Selene and Pearl of Speed – each paired with sculpted anthracite-grey bodywork, light-grey accents and blue highlights. The instrument cluster mirrors the openworked face of a Richard Mille watch.
Each RMB 01 will be hand-assembled at Brough Superior’s Toulouse facility. Pricing is yet to be confirmed, but expect figures north of $200,000.
