Following record crowds and spectacular on-ice action in 2025, The I.C.E. – International Concours of Elegance – has confirmed its return to the frozen lake of St Moritz on 30-31 January 2026, moving a month earlier in the calendar to strengthen its position among the world’s major concours events.
Now in its sixth year, The I.C.E. has established itself as one of Europe’s most interesting events, where concours judging and dynamic driving take place on the glistening Engadin lake. The 2026 edition will retain its two-day format – a static preview on Friday and a day of dynamic demonstrations on Saturday – but will introduce two new categories: Birth of the Hypercar and Legendary Liveries. The former celebrates the road-racing hybrids that bridged competition and production, while the latter honours cars made famous by their colour schemes or artistic collaborations.

They join returning classes including Barchettas on the Lake, Icons on Wheels and Open Wheels, ensuring a diverse field that spans pre-war elegance to modern-day innovation.
The move to late January is said to position St Moritz as an early highlight of the concours calendar, bridging Europe’s winter season with major US events. Organisers also promise a programme extending beyond the ice, filling the resort with art, culture and other automotive elements.
The 2025 edition of The I.C.E. drew 20,000 spectators to witness 52 cars – from a Bugatti Type 59 to a Lamborghini Miura SV – with the Bugatti crowned Best in Show and the Ferrari 250 GT SWB ‘Sefac’ winning the Spirit of St Moritz award.
