High-end car dealer Tom Hartley Jnr has announced that an agreement has been reached to sell the entire collection of McLaren road cars assembled by Mansour Ojjeh to a single anonymous buyer. THJ claims to have received a number of world-record offers, although the final sale price remains undisclosed.
The 20-car collection was assembled by Ojjeh – TAG Group CEO and long-time McLaren shareholder – following the launch of McLaren’s modern road car division in 2010. His passion for the marque stretched back much further, however, beginning in 1984 when he became a co-owner of the company.

The road cars span a broad spectrum of McLaren Automotive models, each personally specified by Ojjeh and, with the exception of two examples, preserved in unused, factory-delivered condition.
A pivotal figure in McLaren’s modern Formula 1 success, Ojjeh began his road car collection with the final McLaren F1 to leave the production line. Finished in a bespoke shade of orange inspired by Château d’Yquem dessert wine, the car would later see the colour officially renamed ‘Mansour Orange’ in his honour.

Ojjeh’s McLaren F1 set the template for his approach to collecting the marque’s later supercars: each of the 20 cars in his collection was the final example off the production line, and all were finished in his distinctive orange hue.
Ojjeh’s collection also includes a selection of the marque’s halo cars alongside the F1, among them the P1 GTR, Speedtail, multiple Senna variants, the Sabre, Elva and numerous limited-series and Longtail variants. Of the 20 cars, only the F1 and P1 GTR have accumulated more than delivery mileage – the former having covered just 1810km in its lifetime, and the latter used sparingly for occasional trackdays.

The landmark sale is the second major collection handled by THJ in 2025, following the £500m sale of Bernie Ecclestone’s Grand Prix car collection. ‘Just as we were delighted to have been trusted by Bernie Ecclestone to handle for him the sale of his unique collection just a few months ago, so also are we extremely proud to have been able to play our part in ensuring that Mansour’s fantastic collection of McLarens will remain intact for future generations to admire,’ said Tom Hartley Jnr.
