Porsche Cars GB is celebrating 75 years in the UK – alongside 75 years of global motorsport – with a programme of special events throughout 2026, headlined by “Icons of Porsche Sunstede Silverstone Edition”.
The anniversary marks 75 years since the first Porsche – a 356 coupé – debuted at London’s Earls Court Motor Show in 1951. Despite early import restrictions, the model quickly gained a following in the UK, partly aided by motorsport successes.
Held over the summer solstice weekend on 20-21 June at Silverstone Circuit, the Icons of Porsche Sunstede Edition promises on-track demonstrations, themed displays and appearances from significant Porsche personalities. A festival atmosphere is also promised, alongside displays charting the marque’s road and racing history.
Porsche Club GB – officially recognised as Europe’s largest official Porsche owners’ club – will also be in attendance as it marks its 65th anniversary. Club members and the wider Porsche community are encouraged to showcase their cars and share their personal stories with the marque.
